Ever since my mom gave Maceo three stuffed kitty cats for Christmas, he seems to be sleeping more soundly during naptime. Perhaps it is because recently his new ritual is to spend anywhere between 15-40 minutes having very animated conversations with his bedmates. Craig and I are plotting a way to set up a video camera to record all the goings-on since they immediately end as soon as either of us open the door. I did catch a glimpse of him with his back to the crib, picking up each kitty one by one, having a few choice words with it nose to nose, and then tossing it down next to him as he moved on to the next. Whatever the nature of his discussions, they sure tire him out.
